Your Catches: Against the Wall

The sun was beating down on us, but we were making short work on the Oneida River.
I caught this beautiful smallmouth right next to a concrete barrier submerged in the Oneida River using the Jackall Flick-Shake. I was paired with a Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier Spinning Reel & Rod loaded with 8lb Berkely Trilene XL fishing line.

This beautiful smallmouth was caught at dusk on a Jackall Flick shake in the pumpkin pepper variety. It was caught using a Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier Spinning Reel and Rod on 8lb Trilene XL test line.

My first bass caught on the Oneida River this year.

I caught this smallmouth using the Jackall Flick-Shake in the 5.8 inch length. I caught it on my second cast and it put up a great fight, I was using Trilene XL in 8lb test on a Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier Spinning Reel and Rod.

Move over Senko I want to play too!
It’s no secret, I love the Gary Yamamoto Senko Worm. It’s been a proven bait that has brought me and thousands of others awesome results. Senko upon its inception has been synonymous with versatility, it’s well renown for it’s ability to be fished in a variety of ways. Between you and me though, I’ve never quite cared for all of the fancy rigs. Sure I know they work, but for me there’s only one way I find myself fishing a Senko worm and it’s always been about the wacky rig.
It's live bait scented, salt impregnated, wacky rigging goodness in a bag!

I Started the open water season with carp fishing. Dew worms in a back eddy took this one on the Grand River.

This monster was caught on a crappie rig, with 6lb line. That's not easy, drag out!
This smallmouth was caught on lake Erie, one of the worlds largest freshwater lakes
On His Icy Pike:
Some of the last ice fishing for this year had the bigger pike on the hunt. Caught this 30″ pike on a crappie rig with a 2″ minnow and 6lb line.
We love this one, there’s nothing like grabbing a monster on an unexpected rig. It makes for a nice little adrenaline rush.
