I caught this nice muskie on a pacemaker topwater lure!

I caught this muskie in southeastern Wisconsin on a topwater bait called a pacemaker. She hit 15 feet from the boat right at sunset. I was in the back of the boat when she struck so I made a mad dash toward the front. On my way I tripped and fell to the bottom of the boat. I Managed to keep it on long enough to bring it into the net. Catch and release!

We quickly took this photo before returning this beautiful muskie to safety.
I was lindy rigging on a homemade set up with 10lb mono when suddenly this female muskie bit. It was mothers day 2009 and it was the only fish we caught that day. She was beat up pretty bad, so we quickly snapped a photo on my friends phone and put her back in. Lake Waconia, MN.

This enormous musky was pulled from the Ottawa River by Guy this past October.
Some fishermen spend a whole season going for muskie with nary a bite. Maybe that’s because they’re not fishing in the Ottawa River. Or maybe Guy is just better at it than most.
