Awesome, what was the fight like?

Non stop drag pulling, hard fighters. Need heavy line and a good long rod to help control them.

Yeah Juice and I were thinking of getting into some carp fishing this summer. Need about a 12′ rod right? What’s your setup like.

Hey Antonito and Juice, I recommend a 10-12′ rod and a bait feeder reel really helps as well, if not having your drag turned down enough to keep your line tight but loose enough if a bigger fish grabs it, the fish wont take your rod with it! I have a surf rod that is 10′ but very heavy backbone it works well, it also helps to have a carp stand which I dont have yet but I usually fish in areas that i can lean my rod up againest as vertical as possible….. Carp are smart chum the area before fishing to up your odds with boiled carp. if not boiled it can kill them. But canned corn works well to and its preboiled, try adding vanilla, sugar and experiment!
